The Chap Olympiad 2011

Saturday saw the 7th Annual Olympiad held by The Chap magazine at Bedford Square Gardens in London.

This was my first time at the Olympiad and despite the appalling weather forecast I donned my finery (I was actually going for a bit of working class antithesis to all the dandyism on show) and headed out into the rain to catch the train from Brighton to London with my lovely companions Georgie, Vanessa and Thérèse.

Now it was my intention to get lots of pictures of the many well-dressed gentlemen in attendance and talk about the various styles they employed but partly due to not wanting to get my camera wet, having far to much fun with my companions and meeting all the new fabulous people that I've spent the last year talking to on Twitter, I failed in that regard.

So here are a selection of the pictures I did manage to take (mostly of said fabulous people):

Vanessa, Thérèse & Georgie

Ree Ree Rockette & Gemma Seager

Michael "Atters" Attree & Companions

Miss Banbury Cross

Shona van Beers of Heyday and The Vintage Mafia (wearing specially made 'Fleur' dresses from Heyday)

Vanessa & Thérèse

Georgie d'Albiac Brewin

The Shend

Myself and Georgie d'Albiac Brewin

A Veritable Feast!

Enjoying a lovely summers day?!

Nice uniform (shame about the 'tash)

Dave the Shoe Shine (and a lovely pair of plus-fours)
